You might already be familiar with this young graphic designer's work. At age 22, Kilian Amendola's artwork has already had a considerable presence in the ski world; Movie artwork collaboration for The Education of Style, stop motion animation for The Provo Bros short film Mining powder at Retallack, 2013 Armada Majic J graphics and more recently, graphics for the upcoming 2014 Armada TST.

Just recently, Kilian sent us this short series inspired by different mountain settings which, in his own words; "..any mountain rider would be familiar with."

"..I've only used the main colours associated with each theme." he adds. "With a more abstract interpretation, my intention is for the colors alone to transport the viewer into that special time and place".

*On the first of every month, we’ll take a little time to pay tribute to what we think is one of the most awe-inspiring things out there: Mountains.  It might be a photo, video, collage, painting, poem, etc. ... just a little something to say, "Hey, mountains, you're awesome!

Have mountain-inspired art you’d like to share, or know of an artist we should highlight? Send us an email at art@alpineinitiatives.org.
