Just the other weekend, Sophie Goodman, Hart Roberts and Maggie Edmunds of Telluride.com, put together an amazing fundraiser for AI. They brought out the community of Telluride to watch Poor Boyz latest film WE, bid on awesome silent auction items and enjoy a live show put on by The Great Funktier.

A little over a month ago, Sophie Goodman came to us with the idea of putting on a movie showing at the historic Sheridan Opera House in Telluride, CO, as a fundraiser for AI. We called our friends over at Poor Boyz to see if they wanted to participate and they kindly donated a copy of WE and a ton of swag to the effort. The crew at Telluride.com started finding local businesses to donate to a silent auction and a band to play following the movie.

A month later, AI volunteers from Aspen, CO and the Telluride.com crew were sitting in the Sheridan Opera House wide-eyed as WE played to a full house. To sweeten the deal, the crew from Telluride.com successfully enlisted local favorite The Great Funktier to play following the film. The guys of the Great Funktier put on an amazing show, to say the least. The event successfully raised a couple thousand dollars for AI, the community of Telluride got to find out what AI is all about and everybody had a awesome time. On behalf of everyone at AI, we want to thank the entire community of Telluride for making this event a huge success!
